that ol' daemon popped up yesterday with:
Name of contribution: navigator Author's name: Paul Isambert Location on CTAN: macros/generic Summary description: PDF features across formats and engines. License type: lppl
Announcement text given by the package's contributor:
Navigator implements PDF features for all formats (with some limitations in ConTeXt) with PDFTeX, LuaTeX and XeTeX (i.e. xdvipdfmx). Features include:
- Customizable outlines (i.e. bookmarks);
- Anchors;
- Links and actions (e.g. JavaScript or user-defined PDF actions);
- File embedding (not in ConTeXt);
- Document information and PDF viewer's display (not in ConTeXt);
- Commands to create and use raw PDF objects.
Navigator requires texapi and yax, both 1.03.
(please note that those two new versions have only just been installed; the chances are that users need to update their copies.)
i have installed the new package and created an entry in the catalogue repository. thanks for the upload.
Users may view the package catalogue entry at http://www.tex.ac.uk/tex-archive/help/Catalogue/entries/navigator.html or they may browse the package directory at http://www.tex.ac.uk/tex-archive/macros/generic/navigator/
The catalogue entry is already on the web (surprise!).
