The old-arrows package provides Computer Modern old-style arrows with smaller arrowheads, associated with ordinary LaTeX commands.
It can be used in a document that contains other amsmath arrows characters, like woheadrightarrow, that also have small arrowheads.
The option `new' allows to use the usual new-style cm arrows together with the old-style ones: simply put var before every arrows command.
