I have uploaded `l2tabuen.zip' to ftp.dante.de. It contains my English translation of Mark Trettin's guide to LaTeX called `l2tabu' v. 1.5, giving a lot of practical advice about how to avoid the most common mistakes a user can make (i.e., obsolete commands, and packages). `tabu' in the German name of the guide literally means `taboo'.
As Mark did, I provide both the LaTeX source `l2tabuen.tex', and the PDF version ´l2tabuen.pdf'.
It is published under the Open Publication License 1.0, or later, as the original German version.
`l2tabu' being installed in CTAN: info/german, I suggest you install the files somewhere in
CTAN: info
It may be useful to create a new directory for `l2tabu', and (hopefully ;-) more translations, such as
CTAN: info/l2tabu/german, and ~/english.
Thanks for your submission. I have created a new CTAN directory
info/l2tabu
and installed your files in
info/l2tabu/english
The german version is now in
info/l2tabu/german
(with the old directory linked to the new one)
