With two central members of the CTAN team absent and the third extremely busy, response to requests in the period from 1 to 5 May (in particular) is likely to be even more than usually sluggish.
The Cambridge server will shut down its upload mechanisms, but will continue to serve files by ftp or http.
We apologise in advance for any difficulties users may experience: we will restore service as quickly as possible.
