Antonis Tsolomitis submitted an update to the
NewComputerModern
package.
Version number: 3.90 License type: gfl
Summary description: Computer Modern fonts including matching non-latin alphabets
Announcement text: ----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is an intermediate release as we move towards Version 4. The fonts now
(i) include 8pt versions for Regular and Book weight in Regular and Italic in Roman and Sans families (ii) Support diacritics stacking for all Latin glyphs (iii) Source sfd files are included since they now essentially differ from otf files. The diacritics stacking capability added, enabled the auto-composition of accented glyphs already in Unicode, thus reducing the size of sfd files and enabling the possibility to correct one spline and the correction to be inherited in all composed glyphs.
This capability will be added to Greek for version 4. The 8pt fonts will be used for footnote and lower sizes when the latest fontsetup package is loaded with options 'default' or 'olddefault'.
