I've uploaded the latest version (2.346) of my LaTeX class lettre.cls, which is a designed to write letters with LaTeX in french, german, english. The letter aspect is entirely configurable, through a number of dimension and macros, that can be put also in a so-called institute package called at initialization.
The whole documentation, with examples of letters and faxes in english, german and french is included in the subdirectory doc, the class file itself, with templates files, default institute and my institute files is located in the subdirectory inputs, and the package is completed by README files in english and french, plus the lppl.txt file.
I've uploaded that package on ftp.dante.de, in /incoming/lettre directory. I propose to install the files in /pub/tex/macros/latex/supported/lettre. That package is distributed under the LaTeX Project Public License (LPPL) terms.
Thanks for the update, I installed it in
macros/latex/contrib/supported/lettre
