Daniel Flipo submitted an update to the
babel-french
package.
Version: 3.4d 2018-04-12 License: lppl1.3
Summary description: Babel contributed support for French
Announcement text: ----------------------------------------------------------------------
LaTeX 2018 has a new default encoding (utf8) which breaks frenchsetup{og=« and fg=»} when used with the pdftex engine and single-byte encodings like latin1, latin9, applemac, etc. This new version fixes this issue, it is meant to work both with previous LaTeX versions and with the new one.
