On Sun, 24 Oct 2004, Juergen Fenn uploaded an updated version of l2tabuen. He writes:
It contains v1.7.4 of my English translation of Mark Trettin's guide to LaTeX called `l2tabu' v1.7, giving a lot of practical advice about how to avoid the most common mistakes a user can make (i.e., obsolete commands and packages).
I have corrected some minor typos and inserted a new section on the euler and eulervm packages which may be of interest to those using LaTeX for mathematical typesetting.
I installed the update in
info/l2tabu/english
