Karl Berry submitted an update to the
epstopdf
package.
Version: 2.24 2016-05-28 License: other-free
Summary description: Convert EPS to ‘encapsulated’ PDF using Ghostscript
Announcement text: ----------------------------------------------------------------------
epstopdf is a Perl script that converts EPS to PDF (or other formats) using (by default) Ghostscript.
Changes in this version:
New option --gray to grayscale output, thanks to William Bader; it passes -sColorConversionStrategy=Gray -dProcessColorModel=/DeviceGray to Ghostscript.
The option --device is disallowed in restricted mode (previously some devices were allowed); it is still accepted (with any value) in non-restricted mode.
