the daemon's struggling to keep up:
The following information was provided by the package's contributor.
Name of contribution: yax Author's name: Paul Isambert Author's email: zappathustra@free.fr Location on CTAN: macros/generic Summary description: Yet Another Key System. License type: lppl
Announcement text given by the package's contributor:
At first sight, YaX is just a key-system (and at second sight too). However, YaX rather organizes attributes in parameters, and the latter can be executed, so that YaX is halfway between key management and macro definition (and actually aims at being a user's interface).
Values to attributes can be retrieved and tested in various ways, with full expandability ensured as much as possible.
Finally, YaX's syntax is a quite peculiar (as few braces as possible), but can be customized.
It is based on texapi and thus requires e-TeX.

Users may view the package catalogue entry at http://www.tex.ac.uk/tex-archive/help/Catalogue/entries/yax.html or they may browse the package directory at http://www.tex.ac.uk/tex-archive/macros/generic/yax/
the catalogue entry will appear some time overnight tonight.
