Abstract:

The caption package provides many ways to customise the captions in floating environments like figure and table and cooperates with many other packages.

• Bugfix:

otcaption* did not work if the caption package was loaded *after*

the rotating package.

• Bugfix: sideways-captions did not work at all if the caption package was loaded *after* the sidecap package. (NOTE: info/examples/LaTeX_Companion_2ed/6-5-15.ltx did not compile with v3.0b!)
• Bugfix: Old documents using the caption package and the captcont package should compile fine now. (NOTE: New documents should use ContinuedFloat instead of captcont)
• Improvement: Minimal adaption for use with the memoir document class
