Name of contribution: The Mexican Dialect of Spanish Author's name: Luis Rivera Location on CTAN: /tex-archive/language/mexican Summary description: a subset of the spanish language, for use in mexican typography License type: lppl
Announcement text given by the package's contributor:
The Mexican dialect implements a tiny subset of the Spanish language for use in Mexican typography: only spanish hyphenation and a few shorthands are defined, and the style preserves all the standard LaTeX layout; significant variations are the omission of the ~n shorthand, and the preference for the decimal point.
i've installed the package and made a catalogue entry for it.
