The current release 0.5 of dvisvgm provides improved font support including virtual fonts and MAP files. dvisvgm tries to find dvipdfm's map file(s) by default and uses it to resolve renamed fonts. Missing Metafont and TFM files are now created by calling mktexmf/mktextfm if possible.
Precompiled binaries for Windows/MiKTeX and Fedora Core 6/teTeX can be downloaded from the project page http://dvisvgm.sourceforge.net ----------------------------------------------------------------------
