The following information was provided by the package's contributor.
Name of contribution: ushyph Author's name: Karl Berry Location on CTAN: /language/hyphenation Summary description: repackaging of additional US hyphenation patterns License type: dfsg
Announcement text given by the package's contributor: - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Some of the files of US hyphenation patterns have been adjusted slightly. There are no changes to the actual patterns.
ushyph.tex - updated license and comments.
ushyph1.tex - a symlink to Knuth's patterns in systems/knuth/lib/hyphen.tex
ushyph2.tex - a symlink to ushyph.tex; before it was a bare list of patterns, but that's inconvenient to actually use in the distributions.
ushyphmax.tex - includes DEK's original patterns + exceptions from hyphen.tex, so the file becomes self-contained, like ushyph.tex.
Kuiken approved these changes. - ----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can have a look at these files at http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/language/hyphenation although you may get a better network connection by visiting a mirror of CTAN that is near to you; see http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/README.mirrors .
