subfloat.sty -- subnumbering for figures and tables
This package enables subnumbering of different floats (figures and tables) simular to the subequations-environment of the amsmath package. It does not the same as the subfigure package which generates subfigures within one normal figure.
Main changes to the old version are:
- The labels of the subfloats can now easily be changed.
- subfloat is compatible to subfigure, now.
- The number of subfloats with the same main number can be counted and displayed in the captions.
