Note to Lua(La)TeX users: the lua code included in frenchb.lua v.~3.2b will not work on older installations (TL2015 f.i.), so babel-french reverts to active characters while handling high punctuation with LuaTeX engines older than 0.95! The look and feel of the package output imitates the look of a shell prompt. Version v2.1 features a major bug fix in the *.dtx source, as well as a bunch of new macros. They allow the user to automate things even more by executing the shell commands from within the LaTeX source and capture their output, which is formatted and typeset right after the execution.
