It contains the Bera Type1 fonts and all files required to use them with LaTeX on the PC or Un*x platform. Please, create a new CTAN directory fonts/bera and unpack the archive there. (Do not unpack the inner archive bera.zip.) Bera is a set of three PostScript Type1 font families: Bera Serif (a slab-serif Roman), Bera Sans (a Frutiger descendant), and Bera Mono (monospaced/typewriter). The fonts were originally created by Bitstream, Inc. in TrueType format under the name Bitstram Vera. Malte Rosenau converted them to the Type1 format; the license required that the result was given a different name (Bera). The Bera fonts are released under the same license as the original Vera fonts (see the file LICENSE). A few days ago, I installed a new version of Jens Berger's jurabib package in CTAN:macros/latex/contrib/jurabib. The loading is now as follows: 1. usepackage option overwrites values given by config files. 2. option placed in jurabibsetup (in the preamble) overwrites values given by usepackage. 3. last jurabibsetup overwrites values of preceding jurabibsetup. o Some hooks for multibib.sty compatibility implemented, testfiles added for multibib compatibility (jbtestmb.tex) and for bibunits compatibility (jbtestbu.tex), thanks to Thorsten Hansen for adapting his packages. REMOVED: 'multiple'-functionality removed! To have the same feature you have to load footmisc.sty with option 'multiple' now, suggested by Frank Mittelbach. I wanted to do this before starting on the input routine. * Added `const real step' argument to the version of Ellipse::intersection_points() that takes an Ellipse argument. * BUG FIX: Added `touch 3DLDFmp.mp' to the `3DLDFmp.mp' target in 3DLDF-1.1.5/CWEB/Makefile.am. This ensures that TeX and dvips will be run if MetaPost is run on `3DLDFmp.mp'. LaTeX even crashed when converting or previewing. * A grayscale of 100 percent resulted into a filling of the object with the border colour. This way corrected by setting the grayscale to 99 percent when converting to LaTeX code. * Added Polish and Japanese translations. * General LaTeXPiX GUI font can be changed, this was mainly implemented to deal with the different charsets some languages like Japanese, Chinese and Korean use. * Removed bugs and improved the preview functionality. * When converting drawing to LaTeX and saving them to a .out file you are asked to confirm the overwriting of the currently existing converted file.
