Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
version 1.2m
- BUGFIX: Changed the default of citerevsdnamedelim which
used to be a slash. Now it is empty, because otherwise
it produced two slashes in some circumstances.
- BUGFIX: In footnote-dw with 'xref=true', the reference to
the first entry did not work if the first citation of a
parent was cited via a child. This is now fixed.
- BUGFIX: In footnote-dw the punctuation of @collection
entries was wrong when using a prenote in conjunction
with 'useeditor=false' or when there was no editor. This
is now fixed.
- The biblatex option 'singletitle' can now be used both
with authortitle-dw and footnote-dw. Using this option, a
work's title is only printed if there is not more than
one work by the author or editor.
- New entry option 'pseudoauthor'. If set to true, the
author is put in brackets. This is useful for e.g.
editions of works whose authors are not named, but are
known. See the documentation for details. The entry
option does only have effect if the global option
'pseudoauthor' is set to 'true'. The default value is
'false'.

Announcement text:

In June 2009 www.freefont.de offered a beautiful handwriting font
for free download: The Softmaker Stone Handwriting.
As handwriting fonts are a quite limited resource in the LaTeX world,
i decided to create support files for this beautiful font. Therefore,
Stone Handwriting will be the starting point for the softmaker-freefont
bundle. Other fonts will be included in future.
Supported fonts at the moment:
Congress (regular + bold + italic), Delano-Caps, Flagstaff, Henderson,
Iceberg (regular + bold), Jugendstil, Old Blackletter, Stone Handwriting
License: LPPL (not the fonts themselves)
New in v1.7:
- added support for the font Jugendstil
Attention: The font is not included! This font is font of the
month (January 2010) and can be downloaded for free (at least
this month) at: http://www.freefont.de
Later you can buy it from Softmaker

On Mon, 4 Jan 2010, Harald Harders submitted an update to the
isodate
package.
Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/isodate/
Summary description: Prints dates and date ranges in various (language-dependent) formats
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This package provides ten output formats of the
commands oday, printdate, printdateTeX, and daterange
(partly language dependent):
ISO (yyyy-mm-dd),
numeric (e.g. dd.,mm.~yyyy),
short (e.g. dd.,mm.,yy),
TeX (yyyy/mm/dd),
original (e.g. dd. mmm yyyy),
short original (e.g. dd. mmm yy),
as well as numerical formats with Roman numerals for the month.
The commands printdate and printdateTeX print any date.
The date is given as an argument using the actual date
format for output:
printdate{yyyy-mm-dd}, printdate{dd.mm.yyyy}, or
printdate{dd/mm/yyyy},
and printdateTeX{yyyy/mm/dd}.
The command daterange prints a date range and leaves out unnecessary
year or month entries.
E.g. 2000-05-03 to 2000-05-08 leads to `2000-05-03 to 08'.
ChangeLog:
2010/01/03 v2.30 Harald Harders (h.harders(a)tu-bs.de)
- Add a month-year format (omitting the day)
- Move defintion of language-independent formats into the main
style file

shortorig format

Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/eqparbox
Summary description: Put text in boxes that are as wide as the widest text
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
LaTeX users sometimes need to ensure that two or more blocks of text
occupy the same horizontal space on the page. To that end, the eqparbox
package defines eqparbox, eqmakebox, eqframebox, and eqsavebox
commands, which work just like parbox, makebox, framebox, and
savebox, respectively, except that instead of specifying a width, one
specifies a tag. All boxes with the same tag -- regardless of where
they are in the document -- will stretch to fit the widest box that uses
that tag. This simple, equal-width mechanism can be used for a variety
of alignment purposes, as is evidenced by the examples in eqparbox's
documentation.
