Well, more or less at least. Since there already is Andy Thomas' `sidenotes' package (mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/sidenotes) there is probably no real need for `snotez'. Moreover, the tufte classes (mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/tufte-latex) as well as the memoir class (mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/memoir) also provide corresponding mechansims. Besides the fun I had my motivation was also based on the fact that I didn't like some smaller things (_not_ bugs) done by the `sidenotes' package such as inserting kerns and superscripted commas for multiple marks. I prefer to let my `fnpct' package handle these things. The perl implementation of splitindex is still the primary one. It is recommended to use this, if perl is available. Because dashrule's rules are constructed internally using ule (as opposed to, e.g., PostScript specials) they are fully compatible with every LaTeX back-end processor. I divide old all-in-one package into resumecls (https://github.com/huxuan/resumecls/) and resumecls-example (https://github.com/huxuan/resumecls-example/) with resumecls-example also added as a submodule in resumecls package. If you only want to use it without package development, you can just fork the resumecls-example repo. Modify according to the tex and bib file (if needed) then compile! You do make it! Besides, this version also fix some minor bug most for documents, such as fileversion and filedate for generating documents, usedir in ins file and also changes in Makefile according to the package reconstruction. Finally, there do need more work for documents. I will focus on it in following times.
