Summary description: LaTeX Math for Undergraduates cheat sheet
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a cheat sheet for writing mathematics with LaTeX. It is aimed
at US undergraduates.
When I asked my students for feedback on LaTeX the consensus was that
it is pretty easy but they need a list of symbols. This is my response.
Besides including all the symbols they should need, there is some
general advice about writing mathematics in LaTeX and a few examples
taken from their classes. It prints on two sides of a US letter sheet.

Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This bundle provides two packages, bibpes and fetchbibpes. This pair
of packages was motivated by a friend, who was preparing Bible studies
lessons using a combination of the application e-Sword (http://www.e-sword.net/)
and LaTeX. He wanted a `database' of Bible packages from which he could
simply `fetch' passages into the LaTeX source file.

Donald P. Story submitted an update to the
conv-xkv
package.
Version number: 2017-01-09
License type: lppl1.2
Summary description: Create new key-value syntax
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This small package supports key-value syntax other than the standard
latex syntax of <key>=<value>. Using this package, create key-values of
the form <key>:<value> or <key>-><value>, for example. The package
converts the new notation to xkeyval notation and passes it on to
xkeyval.
What's new: (2017/01/03) The delimiters for the optional first argument
of cxkvsetkeys is changed from the standard `[]' to `()'. Also, if no
key-value of the special type (such as <key>:<value> or <key>-><value>)
is detected, the whole argument is passed to setkeys. This means that
either the new key-value pairing or the standard pairing may be used;
cxkvsetkeys{lname:Story} or cxkvsetkey{lname=Story} both work.

xint
package.
Version number: 1.2k 2017-01-06
License type: lppl1.3
Summary description: Expandable operations on long numbers
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
- The xintfrac.sty floating point macros since 1.2f round their
arguments to the target precision P before further processing.
This rounding is now exact (aka correct) in all cases, even with
fractions having long numerators and denominators.
This change has little influence on float expressions, as the
xintfloatexpr parser handles there the / symbol as an operator
hence it does not (except for special constructs) get to see
fractions as such.
- Half-INT powers A^x (only available in float expressions,
not via macros) proceed by an INT power and then a
square-root extraction: the 1.2f implementation did the latter
on an already rounded value, 1.2k keeps some of the guard digits
to make the computed value Z closer to the exact one: a
difference of less than 0.52 ulp(Z) is guaranteed in all cases.
- Macro xintnewdummy is made a public one, it serves to declare
additional letters as dummy variables in expressions. This is
for Unicode engines, mainly, as all Latin letters are already
predefined to act as such.
See CHANGES.pdf or CHANGES.html for the details and more.

Vít Novotný submitted an update to the
markdown
package.
Version number: 2.3.0
License type: lppl1.3
Summary description: A package for converting and rendering markdown
documents inside TeX
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fixes:
- ConTeXt module no longer mishandles active characters from
`enableregime`.
- Shell access is no longer necessary with ConTeXt MarkIV.
- The default renderers now render strong emphasis using a bold font
face rather than a bold-italic font face.
- Lazy blockquotes are now parsed properly.
New features:
- Added optional HTML support; when the support is enabled, the
Markdown reader will recognize HTML elements, entities, instructions,
and comments in the input.
- Added optional breakable blockquotes support; when the support is
enabled, blockquotes can be split apart using blank lines.
Documentation:
- Documented the behavior of the `-output-directory` TeX option.
Development:
- Removed unnecessary PEG patterns.
- PEG patterns are now hash table entries rather than local variables;
this was a necessary step due to the local variable number limit. This
change was also backported to and merged by the upstream project.
- The unit test templates now use M4 instead of ad-hoc sed string
replacement.
- The Lua text buffering routine was removed as it only introduced
complexity to the package with no tangible benefits. All text buffering
is now done in TeX. As a corrolary, the
`markdownLuaRegisterIBCallback` and `markdownLuaUnregisterIBCallback`
macros have been deprecated.
