Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The package provides a simple, though fancy float environment to
document terminal sessions – like command executions or shell
operations. The look and feel of the package output imitates the look
of a shell prompt.
Version v2.1 features a major bug fix in the *.dtx source, as well as a
bunch of new macros. They allow the user to automate things even more
by executing the shell commands from within the LaTeX source and
capture their output, which is formatted and typeset right after the
execution. Further, it is now possible to read saved sessions from a
file.

Scott Pakin submitted an update to the
hyperxmp
package.
Version: 2.9 2016-04-27
License: lppl1.3
Summary description: Embed XMP metadata within a LaTeX document
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
XMP (eXtensible Metadata Platform) is a mechanism proposed by Adobe
for embedding document metadata within the document itself.
The metadata are designed to be easy to extract, even by programs
that are oblivious to the document's file format.
Most of Adobe's applications store XMP metadata when saving files.
Now, with the hyperxmp package, it is trivial for LaTeX document
authors to store XMP metadata in their documents as well.
hyperxmp integrates seamlessly with hyperref and requires virtually
no modifications to documents that already exploit hyperref's
mechanisms for specifying PDF metadata. The current version of
hyperxmp can embed the following metadata as XMP: authors,
base URL, contact telephone number/postal address/email address/URL,
copyright statement, creation date, document identifier, document
instance identifier, document type, file format, keywords, language,
LaTeX file name, license URL, metadata writer, PDF version,
PDF-generating tool, PDF/A compliance level and version,
primary author's position or title, subject/summary, and title.
hyperxmp is compatible with pdflatex, latex+dvips+ps2pdf,
latex+dvipdfm, xelatex, and lualatex.
Version 2.9 of hyperxmp improves PDF/A support by providing control
over the PDF/A part and conformance ID; embedding IPTC metadata in
a more validation-friendly manner; and including even empty author,
title, and description metadata when PDF/A is being generated.
Thanks to Leonid Sinev for his help with these. In addition,
hyperxmp v2.9 lets authors indicate the logical document type
(e.g., text or image) in the XMP metadata.

Version number: 1.1.1
License type: gpl3
Summary description: An ArabTeX-like interface for LuaLaTeX
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This package provides for LuaLaTeX an ArabTeX-like interface to generate
Arabic writing from an ascii transliteration. It is
particularly well-suited for complex documents such as technical documents
or critical editions where a lot of left-to-right commands
intertwine with Arabic writing. arabluatex is able to process any ArabTeX
input notation. Its output can be set in the same modes of
vocalization as ArabTeX, or in different roman transliterations. It
further allows many typographical refinements. It will eventually
interact with some other packages yet to come to produce from .tex source
files, in addition to printed books, TEI xml compliant
critical editions and/or lexicons that can be searched, analyzed and
correlated in various ways.

mathastext
package.
Version: 1.3n 2016-04-22
License: lppl1.3
Summary description: Use the text font in maths mode
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
At long last, mathastext takes care properly of annoying and
perplexing amsmath's
ewmcodes@. The very recent change in
amsopn.sty finally made it compatible with Unicode engines, but
anyhow, mathastext must do its own patch to use the correct font.
All of this taking into account the various options passed to
the package. Lots of trouble for a tiny thing.

Nicolas Markey submitted the
pdfxup
package.
Version number: 1.30
License type: lppl1.3
Summary description: Create n-up PDF pages with minimal margins
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
pdfxup is a unix/linux shell script that creates a PDF
document where each page is obtained by combining several
pages of a PDF file given as output. The important feature
of pdfxup, compared to similar programs, is that it tries to
compute the (global) bounding box of the input PDF file, in
order to remove the margins and to keep the text only.
Instead of having the font size divided by 2 (for the case
of 2-up output), in some case you may end up with almost
the same font size as in the original document (as is the
case for a default 'article' document produced by LaTeX).
pdfxup uses ghostscript for computing the maximal bounding
box of (some of) the pages of the document, and then uses
pdflatex (with graphicx package) in order to produce the new
document.

footnotehyper
package.
Version number: 0.9c 2016-04-19
License type: lppl1.3
Summary description: hyperref aware footnote.sty
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The footnote package by Mark Wooding dates back to 1997 and has
not been made hyperref compatible. The aim of the present
package is to do that. It is barely tested and its state is what
I found sufficiently well-working on a current LaTeX document of
mine, I have not attempted any in-depth analysis of all possible
situations.
Some issues from footnote.sty made it incompatible with the
color and xcolor packages; this is corrected by footnotehyper.
Loading of hyperref is mandatory (either before or after) but
left to the user.
