Donald P. Story submitted an update to the
fc-arith
package.
Version number: 2016-12-10
License type: lppl1
Summary description: Create an arithmetic flash card
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
fc_arith is a LaTeX package used to create an arithmetic flash card.
Addition, subtraction, ultiplication, and division problems are
randomly generated. There is a menu system for setting the intervals
from which to randomly draw numbers, and the number of decimal places
these numbers hould have. The user can optionally compete against the
clock, and awarded points as a function of how fast the problem is
correctly solved.
What's New (2016/12/10): All the standard PDF creators can build the
demo file fc_noacrobat.tex. If you own the Acrobat application, you can
also build fc_acrobat.tex using any workflow (dvips/distiller,
pdflatex, lualatex, and xelatex). Additional commands are defined to
localize virtually strings the package uses. A redefined menu
environment (MenuFC) is more flexible than the old one. Fixed a lot of
bugs found by my greatest user and tester J. Gilg.

Jean-François Burnol submitted an update to the
xint
package.
Version number: 1.2i 2016-12-13
License type: lppl1.3
Summary description: Expandable operations on long numbers
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This release principally brings speed improvements to under the hood
auxiliary (mainly non arithmetic) routines. As a result xintTrunc,
xintRound, xintXTrunc got faster. Also xintKeep, xintTrim, and
xintLength were somewhat refactored and are faster.
New macros xintLastItem and
omannumeralxintgobble (for cleaning
up hundreds of thousands of unwanted tokens, if needed) and also
omannumeralxintreplicate which is simply borrowed from expl3 with
some minor changes. Some aspects of xintFor are better explained in
the docs.
The documentation has dropped all usage of LaTeX command, which
was for some unknown reason to be found at a number of locations of
the user manual, in favor of macro, which is more apt for a
package (which works under any TeX -- as long as its primitives are
not obfuscated of course!) almost all of whose macros work by
expansion only (and
umexpr).

The doc package includes tools for describing macros and

package adds additional tools for describing booleans,
lengths, counters, keys, packages, classes, options, files,
commands, arguments, and other objects.
Each item is given a margin tag similar to DescribeEnv, and
is listed in the index by itself and also by category. Each
item may be sorted further by an optional class.
All index entries except code lines are hyperlinked.
Descriptions are best accompanied by examples, so the environment
dtxexample is provided. Contents are displayed verbatim along with

Dominik Waßenhoven submitted an update to the
biblatex-dw
package.
Version number: 1.7
License type: lppl
Summary description: Humanities styles for BibLaTeX
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.7
This St Nicholas Day’s version brings as a present the long awaited
compatibility with biblatex > 3.3. It was tested with biblatex 3.6 and
biber 2.6.
Further changes are:
- New option citeauthorname (instead of firstfullname) which can
take the values normal (citeauthor and extcite print the surname
only, as in standard biblatex), firstfull (at the first use of
citeauthor or extcite, the full name is printed, otherwise the
surname only; thus, this is the behaviour of the former option
firstfullname) and full (the full name is always printed when using
citeauthor or extcite). The default for this option is normal.
- Option firstfullname has been dropped (see above, option
citeauthorname).
- Option series can now take the values standard, afteryear and
beforeedition. The latter is new and prints the series ahead of the
edition. The default for this option is standard.
- BUGFIX: From version 3.3 of biblatex, DeclareNameFormat has changed.
This version of biblatex-dw is now compatible with the new syntax.
- BUGFIX: In some circumstances, the option inreference=full was
broken. This should be fixed now.
- BUGFIX: In some cases, @review in combination with the xref
functionality suppressed the output of pages. This should be fixed.
- Compatibility with biblatex 2.9 regarding the list of shorthands.

Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The keyfloat package provides a key/value user interface for quickly
creating
figures with a single image each, figures with arbitrary contents, tables,
subfloats, rows of floats, and floats [H].
Key/value combinations may specify a caption and label, a width
proportional to linewidth, a fixed width and/or height, rotation,
scaling,
a tight or loose frame, an arraystretch, a continued float, additional
supplemental text, and an artist/author's name with automatic index entry.
When used with the tocdata package, the name also appears in the List of
Figures.
Floats may be placed into a row environment, and are typeset to fit
within
the given number of columns, continuing to the next row if necessary.
Nested

vertically next to one larger figure.
Subfloats are supported by two environments.
