Summary description: Assessment based on AcroTeX quizzes
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
WARNING: Adobe Acrobat DC or Adobe Acrobat XI is required for
post PDF-creation. Any PDF-creator application is supported.
This package implements an idea by Thorsten G. for assessment
using PDF quizzes produced by the exerquiz package.
Thorsten not only wanted to pose multiple choice, multiple
selection, and fill-in type questions, but also wanted to ask
extended response questions that would be manually evaluated.
Once the quiz is graded, the instructor may optionally pass
the quizzes through an Acrobat action sequence to extract
the student's name and grade from the quizzes. The extracted
information is saved to a tab-delimited TXT file. The instructor
can later merge this file into a larger spreadsheet.
If intriguing, install thorshammer and try this workflow.

Version number: 2.1
License type: lppl
Summary description: Using Utopia fonts in LaTeX documents
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
NEW in version 2.1:
* in fourier-orns.sty, the otf versions of the font are now searched by file name rather than by font name in order xelatex to find them easily. Thanks to Marcel Krüger and Norbert Preining for pointing this out.
* in fourier-orns.sty, the danger command is now also defined in the otf context.
* in fourier.sty there is now a warning message to suggest the use of fourier-otf.sty when xelatex or lualatex are used. Thanks to Daniel Flipo for suggesting this.

Paulo Roberto Massa Cereda submitted the
texplate
package.
Version: 1.0.0 2020-01-14
License: bsd3
Summary description: A tool for creating document structures based on templates
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
TeXplate is a tool for creating document structures based on templates.
The application name is a word play on “TeX” and “template”, so
the purpose seems quite obvious: we want to provide an easy and
straightforward framework for reducing the typical code boilerplate
when writing TeX documents. Also note that one can easily extrapolate
the use beyond articles and theses: the application is powerful enough
to generate any text-based structure, given that a corresponding
template exists.

hep-paper
package.
Version: 1.1 2020-01-01
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Publications in High Energy Physics
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The hep-paper package aims to provide a single style file containing
most configurations and macros necessary to write appealing publications
in High Energy Physics.
Instead of reinventing the wheel by introducing newly created macros
hep-paper preferably loads third party packages as long as they are
light weight enough.
For usual publications it is enough to load additionally to the
article class without optional arguments only the hep-paper package.
