The user interface is not changed, though. The 'makeall' driver script again has received major modifications. The code is now much cleaner and several special cases have been purged. The Math font has been greatly expanded and now should match XITS/STIX fonts in glyph coverage. The Serif text fonts now support Hebrew and Cherokee with all characters designed from scratch and matching cmr weights and cmr Hebrew Math letters. A new Book weight is provided for all fonts (including math), providing a solution to the problem that cmr was always thin. The Book weight can now be used as the default, and it is the default option of the latest fontsetup package. It is heavier and thus more enjoyable to read and can be used to produce books printed in high resolution.
