Major update of the cryptocode package with various optimizations (in
particular spacings of code blocks) and the introduction of additional

package.
Version: 0.99a 2020-07-08
License: gpl3+ fdl
Summary description: Typesetting TEI xml Compliant Critical Editions
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
ekdosis is a LuaLaTeX package designed for multilingual critical
editions. It can be used to typeset texts and different layers
of critical notes in any direction accepted by LuaTeX.
Texts can be arranged in running paragraphs or on facing pages,
in any number of columns which in turn can be synchronized or not.
In addition to printed texts, ekdosis can convert .tex source files
so as to produce TEI xml compliant critical editions.
Database-driven encoding under LaTeX then allows extraction of texts
entered segment by segment according to various criteria: main edited
text, variant readings, translations or annotated borrowings between texts.
It is published under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 3.

- Fixes:
- Getting rid of the hyphen in XeTeX was not working as
expected. A new procedure has been devised.
- tag.bcp47 now contains what its name promises, instead of
just the language subtag (#70).
- Locale info was not loaded if the name had uppercase letters
in some OSs (#80).

Version number: 2.66
License type: lgpl3
Summary description: 2D and 3D TeX-Aware Vector Graphics Language
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A bug in the Bezier patch bounds was fixed. Vertex and material data are
copied from the CPU to GPU only when necessary. The default Headlamp
light was brightened. WebGL output is centered in the viewport, extending
to the canvas boundary; the precision of planar Bezier surfaces was
increased to avoid artifacts. Fullscreen mode has been fixed; the new
default maxviewport=(0,0) specifies the screen dimensions. Camera
adjustment was fixed. Problems with Xasy and interactive signals under
MSWindows were fixed. A background color for both 2D and 3D images
can be specified with currentlight.background. Offscreen rendering on
headless machines has been reinstated; while the setting offscreen has
been removed, one can again configure asy for either onscreen or offscreen
rendering. Clipping was removed from the slopefield module.
Functions mapArray, mapTemplate, real abs2(pair), and real abs2(triple)
were implemented. The new Ghostscript transparency model requires
Ghostscript 9.52 or later. The detection of TeX errors was improved. An array
segmentation fault was fixed; array dimensions are checked. Flattened
monochrome tensor patches with interior internal control points are now
drawn as filled cyclic paths. PDF offsets were fixed, along with the
auto-reload feature for Acroread. SVG support was improved; 2D images can
now be output in HTML format using inline SVG code, to support the

Release 1.2.1
Several changes, both internal and user-visible. These are quite risky, although they
*should* be backward-compatible.
>From the user point of view:
- there is now a new style of voltages (raised American)
- a powerful mechanism for customizing voltages, currents and flows has been added.
The internal changes are basically the re-implementation of the macros that draw the path
elements (`to[...]`), which have been completely rewritten. Please be sure to read the
possible incompatibilities in the manual (section 1.9).
- Added access to voltages, currents and flows anchors
- Added raised american voltage style
- Rewrite of the path generation macros
- Several small bugs fixed (no one ever used some f^> options...)

Summary description: Extended plain TeX macros
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Eplain version 3.11 is available from CTAN via
https://ctan.org/pkg/eplain and directly from https://tug.org/eplain.
It's also included in TeX distributions.
This minor release supports the YYYY-MM-DD date syntax in
ProvidesPackage, as well as the historical YYYY/MM/DD.
General: the Eplain macro package extends and expands on the definitions
in plain TeX. It's intended to provide useful definitions regardless of
how a document might be formatted, such as cross-referencing by labels.
Eplain was originally developed for the book TeX for the Impatient,
published by Addison-Wesley in 1990. That book is now freely available,
from https://ctan.org/pkg/impatient, along with several translations.
It's also in TeX distributions.
Please send bug reports to tex-eplain(a)tug.org

Version: 2.2 2020-07-01
License: lppl1.3
Summary description: A LaTeX package to typeset (Italian) high school tests
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The package verifiche (an Italian term that means tests) was
developed to manage high school tests.
The main features are the possibility to produce the heading of
the document, the test and the solutions of the exercises, if
the package is loaded in solutions mode.
Some typical formats of exercises are implemented to simplify
the test production:
- plain exercises
- complete-the-text exercises
- true or false exercises
- closed questions
- open questions (provide a background based on straight lines
or squares over which the student can write the solution)
- find-the-error exercises
For every type of exercise exists the solution counterpart that can be shown.
The package implements also a rapid way to produce some text alongside an image.
All the main fonts, the labels, and other graphical elements (like the symbol
used to show the difficulty of the exercise) can be redefined by the user.

Andreas Scherer submitted an update to the
pwebmac
package.
Version: 4.5.4 2020-06-27
License: pd
Summary description: Consolidated WEB macros for DVI and PDF output
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This updated version of the 'pwebmac' package makes one significant,
albeit internal, change in the 'pwebmac.tex' macros: The page headers
are now created almost identical to those in 'cwebmac.tex' (sans the
section 'depth'), and not as in 'webmac.tex'.
The user interface is not changed, though.
The 'makeall' driver script again has received major modifications.
The code is now much cleaner and several special cases have been purged.
The 'registry' file 'index.md' has lost one 'ctwill.pdf', because
this particular PDF will only exist in a single variant describing
the fully functional and final CWEB code for CTWILL in its own format.

After a 3 1/2 year hiatus, I'm pleased to announce the availability of a
new version of the Comprehensive LaTeX Symbol List, an organized
collection of over 14,000 symbols available to LaTeX users. Although only
a few hundred new symbols have been added since the January 2017 release,
the new document (a) builds properly under recent TeX distributions, (b)
lists raw TeX font names in the Math Alphabets table, making it easy to
find full font samples of each math alphabet in the accompanying Raw Font
Tables document, and (c) includes a number of minor changes, corrections,
