package.
Version: 2021-08-11
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: A series of tools to simplify your workflow
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In an earlier version, as an attempt to allow the option
thmnum=<user-defined-option> to capture a user-defined counter,
the CreateTheorems are wrapped in an AtEndPreamble.
However, this turns out to be problematic: the counters theorem
etc. are not then directly visible to the user.
To fix this, while still making user-defined counters available
to thmnum, a new option delaythms is added. Now if you use
thmnum=<user-defined-counter>, it would be necessary to add
this new option.
There are also many minor fixes and improvements alongside
with this update.

Keys like upper -, lower -, - etc. have been removed; those were
previously aliases of upper slot, lower slot, slot etc. The reason
for the removal of these is that it causes confusion when you want to use
a minus sign as in index, as in vy[-]. Furthermore, due to a previous,
failed find-and-replace operation, keys like lower * were accidentally
called lower **, while what was supposed to be lower ** was really
called lower ***. The error was not present in the upper equivalents
of these keys.

Summary description: A Visual LaTeX FAQ
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Having trouble finding the answer to a LaTeX question -- or struggling
to find the words to express your question? The Visual LaTeX FAQ is an
innovative new search interface that presents over a hundred typeset
samples of frequently requested document formatting. Simply click on a
hyperlinked piece of text that matches what you want to achieve -- or
what you want to prevent -- and the Visual LaTeX FAQ will send your Web
browser to the appropriate page in the TeX FAQ.
This version of the Visual LaTeX FAQ updates all of the hyperlinks to
point to the TeX FAQ (https://texfaq.org/) instead of the
now-deprecated UK TeX FAQ. Thanks to Frank Mittelbach for alerting me

Version number: 3.0

Summary description: Read, store and recall array-formatted data
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 3.0 of readarray introduces several new features. Arrays can be
initialized with the initarray command, rather than being read from a
file. With setvalue, the tokens of individual array cells can be revised
on demand. The contents of one array can be merged into another by way of
the mergearray command. The ypesetarray command allows for versatile
ways to format your array output, including by way of tabular
environments. The way end-of-line characters can be handled on a data-read

In LaTeX typesetting, it is usually the case that one needs to use
different variants of a math symbol to clarify the meanings.
For example, in linear algebra literature, it is common to use
boldfaced symbols to represent vectors, and normal symbols to
represent scalars. However, applying these variants by typing
mathbf, mathrm commands manually can be daunting.
The smart-eqn package aims to provide an automatic and customizable
approach for math symbol styling, which eliminates the need to enter
style commands repeatedly.

Summary description: Cache includegraphics calls
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you waiting forever while your document compiles? Are you tired of
trial-and-error downscaling your images to make the output document smaller?
This LaTeX package provides caching of `includegraphics` calls, with several
useful effects:
* Recompilations are much faster
* Images can be postprocessed with `ghostscript` before inclusion, thus:
* Automatic downscaling to specified DPI
* Automatic JPEG compression with configurable quality
* Much smaller files (e.g. 10MB instead of 150MB)!
It needs '-shell-escape', however.
