Summary description: A class for typesetting DVD archives
License type: lppl
Announcement text:

Having lost the overview of my DVD archives, I simply could not remember
if I already recorded the documentary running on TV that day. I chose to
recreate the index using LaTeX: the design aim was a hyperlinked and fully
searchable PDF-document listing my DVDs with all titles, contents, lengths
and so on. Further requirements were support for seasons of tv series and
a list with all faulty or missing programs for rerecording. The dvdcoll
class supports all these requirements.
dvdcoll.cls follows the structure <number><title><length>. As a result,
the class is not limited to DVDs ÿÿ you can of course typeset archives of
CD-ROMs, Audio-CDs and so on.
Supported languages at the moment: English, French, German.
Some help is needed for other languages! ;-)

package.
Location on CTAN: /graphics/pgf

PGF is a macro package for creating graphics. It is platform- and
format-independent and works together with the most important TeX backend
drivers, including pdftex and dvips. It comes with a user-friedly syntax
layer called TikZ.
Its usage is similar to pstricks and the standard picture environment.
Unlike pstricks, it can produce either PostScript or PDF output, and works
with plain (pdf-)TeX, (pdf-)LaTeX, and ConTeXt.

CJK 4.7.0
=========
CJK 4.7.0 is available from
ftp://ftp.dante.de/pub/tex/language/chinese/CJK and other CTAN hosts
and its mirrors. Following the CTAN rules, the source files of CJK
are unpacked. Additionally, the archive CJK-4.7.0-doc.tar.gz is
available, providing some CJK documentation and example files in
various output formats.
Current development snapshots (updated twice a day) are available as
http://cjk.ffii.org/cjk-current.tar.gz
Bug reports should go to cjk-bug(a)ffii.org.
CJK is a macro package for LaTeX, providing simultaneous support for
various Asian scripts in many encodings (including Unicode):
Chinese (both traditional and simplified)
Japanese
Korean
Thai
A special add-on feature is an interface to the Emacs editor
(cjk-enc.el) which gives simultaneous, easy-to-use support to a bunch
of other scripts in addition to the above:
Cyrillic
Greek
Latin-based scripts
Russian
Vietnamese
See below for the relevant snippet from the history file.
Enjoy!
Werner
======================================================================
Version 4.7.0:
17-Oct-2006
new:
A new encoding `HK' (C05) is available for Hong Kong's
HKSCS-2004, used in combination with Big 5.
`UTF8' encoding now supports full Unicode (up to
U+10FFFF). Subfont planes for ranges greater than U+FFFF
consist of four hexadecimal digits (for example
`foo025E' which covers U+25E00-U+25EFF). The Unicode
command (and CJKchar) has been extended to accept
Unicode values greater than U+FFFF.
CJKutf8.sty:
Support Unicode encoded bookmarks if the hyperref
package is used.
Automatically generate ToUnicode cmaps for pdftex
(tested with pdftex version 3.141592-1.30.4-2.2; it
currently doesn't work with virtual fonts).
Caption files in UTF-8 encoding have been added; the
files are identical to the encoding-specific versions.
ja Japanese
ko-Hang Korean using Hangul
ko-Hang2 another version using Hangul
ko-Hani Korean using Hanja
zh-Hans Chinese simplified
zh-Hant Chinese traditional
errors:
UTF-8 input character 0x80 was handled only partially.
pinyin.sty:
The package didn't preserve `ding' which is defined
in pifont.sty, causing problems with older versions of
the hyperref package and its `hpdftex' driver option.
CJK.sty:
Make it work with font definition files (like the ones
from the fourier package) which expect that the
loading-settings are called only once.
The use of caption files within the `scrartcl' class
made chapter a defined command (instead of reporting
an error).
With the koma-script classes, all CJK caption files
except for Korean produced bad looking TOC entries for
part.

Das Puzzle Spiel is a LaTeX package (dps package) for creating a
puzzle, a message actually, and a series of questions and answers. The
document consumer matches the questions with the answers. With each
match, another letter appears in the puzzle. Upon completion of all
questions, the message hidden in the puzzle is revealed. The puzzle is
primarily designed for the screen, but you can optionally create the
game for paper.

-------------------- About BaKoMa TeX 7.72 ------------------
BaKoMa TeX 7.72 supports two coexisting IDE:
1) BaKoMa TeX Word - Visual (True WYSIWYG) LaTeX Editor.
2) Text Editor + DVI Viewer - Classical IDE.
About BaKoMa TeX Word.
BaKoMa TeX Word is True WYSIWYG LaTeX Editor.
The word `True' is used to highlight two following
facts:
1) It is True WYSIWYG Editor.
It means that display shows precisely the same
what will be printed. It looks as if you edit
your document immediately in DVI Viewer window.
2) It is True LaTeX Editor.
It edits LaTeX source text without any
import/export procedure. It means that
you can load and edit any LaTeX 2e document.
BaKoMa TeX Word is built on top of BaKoMa TeX
graphic engine and consequently it inherits all features
of BaKoMa TeX related with import graphics,
font support, and document export.
It supports processors:
(1) Standard TeX and (2) e-TeX.
Other processors such as Omega may be added in future.
It imports:
EPS, PDF, JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, PCX,
MSP, BMP, WMF, EMF, FIG, HPGL, and DXY.
It supports fonts:
OpenType (OTF/TTF), TrueType, PostScript Type1 (including MM),
PostScript Type 3, and TeX PK/VF.
It exports:
DVI, PDF, SVG, PS, PNG (with HTML wrapper), and HTML (TeX4HT).
It includes built-in PostScript interpreter accessible via DVIPS
compatible special interface that supports such macro packages as:
PSTricks, PSFrag, graphics (psfig), draftcopy,
PowerDot, Prosper, Beamer, etc.
Most important application of BaKoMa TeX Word is
final step corrections of LaTeX papers before publishing.
Editing slides in WYSIWYG interface
(with such packages as PowerDot, Prosper, Beamer, etc.)
is another impressive feature of `BaKoMa TeX Word'.
Beginner users of LaTeX may consider TeXWord as
good start point for learning LaTeX together with writing papers.
TeXWord is transparent for cooperation.
TeXWord don't use additional macro packages.
So that documents made with TeXWord may be compiled
in any LaTeX setup without any adaptation.
In other side, TeXWord can handle arbitrary LaTeX documents.
So, that your coleagues may even don't know that you use
powerful WYSIWYG tool to edit your part of common work.
