On Sat, 22 Nov 2008 Grzegorz Murzynowski submitted an update to the gmeometric package. Changing the size of the typeset area is well-known to be a dangerous operation in TeX documents. This package identifies the circumstances where the geometry command of the geometry package may safely be used, (other, of course, than in the preamble of a document) and provides a mechanism for using it. The package makes use of the author’s gmutils package. Gmdoc is a LaTeX package and an example class for documenting (La)TeX packages, document classes, .dtx etc., providing hyperlinks. The package is believed to be compatible with doc and permits minimal markup of code (the macrocode environment is no longer necessary). The package provides automatic detection of definitions (detecting such things as def, ewcommand, DeclareOption etc.). Each line is set in math mode so all the indentation and spacing is done automatically. The notation |variable_name| can be used within normal text, maths expressions or programs to indicate a variable name. Use origbar to get a normal | symbol in a program. The commands A, B, R, T and typeset the corresponding bold letter with the next object as a substript (eg S1 typesets {f S$_1$} etc). They now cope with primes as well, (eg $S2'''$). The program.sty file can be easily edited to reflect your favoured style. Typesetting a program is as easy as: (IF x e 0 THEN |long_name|_{123} = x^y FI) See the program-demo.tex file for examples. On Fri, 7 Nov 2008 Henrik Skov Midtiby submitted an update to the todonotes package. The package lets the user mark things to do later, in a simple and and visually appealing way. The package takes several options to enable customization/finetuning of the visual appearance.
