ctanify is intended for developers of LaTeX packages who want to
distribute their packages via the Comprehensive TeX Archive Network
(CTAN). Given a list of filenames, ctanify creates a tarball (a
.tar.gz file) with the files laid out in CTAN's preferred structure.
The tarball additionally contains a ZIP (.zip) file with copies of all
files laid out in the standard TeX Directory Structure (TDS), which
facilitates inclusion of the package in the TeX Live distribution of
TeX.
So far, ctanify has been tested only on Linux. Volunteers willing to

Changes
===========
* New feature : a group between braces has an identifier
qualifying its position and its nestling depth.
In an argument, a group can be found with its identifier
with the macro StrFindGroup. Several macros of the package
also give the identifier of the group they worked into with
the command groupID.
* Code improvment.
* Bugfixes.

cam.ctan.org's nightly mirrors collapsed last night, for lack of disc
space on the ctan partition. as a result, for much of today, the site
has been without mactex and its friends and relations.
all is now right, so anyone planning to retrieve from cambridge may
proceed at their convenience.
