To that end, the eqparbox package defines eqparbox, eqmakebox, eqframebox, and eqsavebox commands, which work just like parbox, makebox, framebox, and savebox, respectively, except that instead of specifying a width, one specifies a tag. All boxes with the same tag -- regardless of where they are in the document -- will stretch to fit the widest box that uses that tag. This simple, equal-width mechanism can be used for a variety of alignment purposes, as is evidenced by the examples in eqparbox's documentation. On Fri, 1 Jan 2010 Josef Kleber submitted the installfont package to CTAN. Location on CTAN: /support/installfont Summary description: A bash script for installing a Postscript Type1 font family License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- With this script you can install a Postscript Type1 font family (at least the four basic cuts + small caps + faked slanted (pdflatex), but no expert fonts) for using it with LaTeX (MiKTeX). The script expects the *.pfb and *.afm files named in the Karl Berry scheme (e.g. 5bbr8a.pfb). Just adapt the script variables to your fonts and directories.
