On Mon, 15 Feb 2010, Francois Charette submitted an update to the biber package. Biber is a BibTeX replacement for users of biblatex, with full Unicode support, written in Perl. This release coincides with the release of biblatex 0.9. This version of Biber was in fact specifically developed for that version of biblatex 0.9. See the accompanying README file for requirements and installation instruction. License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- With this script you can install a Postscript Type1 font family (at least the four basic cuts + (faked) small caps + faked slanted, but no expert fonts) for using it with LaTeX (MiKTeX). The script will rename the fonts automatically (optinal) or will otherwise expect the *.pfb and *.afm files named in the Karl Berry scheme (e.g. 5bbr8a.pfb). Just adapt the script variables to your fonts and directories. After running it, you should have a working font installation in your local TeX tree. On Mon, 15 Feb 2010 Dominik Wassenhoven submitted an update to the biblatex-dw package, a small collection of styles for the biblatex package. It was designed for citations in the humanities and offers some features that are not provided by the standard biblatex styles. Biblatex-dw is dependent on biblatex (at least version 0.8) and cannot be used without it. This is now fixed. Also, some bugs regarding the xref functionality in citations could be fixed. - BUGFIX: The editors in @incollection, @inproceedings and @inreference entries were printed using the name format 'sortname' ('Lastname, Firstname') where it should have been the name format 'byeditor' ('Firstname Lastname'). This is now fixed. - New option 'omiteditor': If one uses 'useeditor=false' and 'omiteditor=true', the editor in citations will be omitted. The same applies to the xref functionality in the bibliography. With 'useeditor=true', this option has no effect. The standard for this option is 'false'. - The limitation regarding the combination of 'xref=true', 'edbyidem=true' and 'useeditor=false' is no longer valid.
