As of version 3.42, KOMA-Script will no longer contain the scrhack package. Strictly speaking, scrhack was always an experimental package, which has since been replaced by the packages floatbytocbasic, floatrowbytocbasic, listingsbytocbasic, lscapeenhanced, setspaceenhanced and standardsectioning. For compatibility reasons, it was decided to provide a new version of scrhack until further notice. This new version uses the aforementioned packages to emulate the functionality of the version contained in KOMA-Script up to version 3.41.
