It - uses Bézier curves (integral and rational) from degree one to seven, - allows TeX typesetting in the graphic, - offers most of the standard math functions, - allows plotting normal, parametric and polar functions. The package has linear, logx, logy, logxy and polar grids with many specs; - it can rotate, clip and do many nice things easily - it has two looping commands for programming and many instructive example files. License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- A new raw macro file `twocolpg.sty' provides macros for the web page style with a navigation column at the left of a main content column with spanning header and footer - towards a content management system for TeX addicts? Templates (`demo') are provided, see Section `Examples' in `blog.pdf'. `blog.sty' v0.5 has many more macros than v0.41, mainly for symbols. Accented letters are near to complete, Greek letters are complete. Documentation has been improved at some places. I realized that ` ' allows line breaks and therefore redefined hinspace and ,, but this may be difficult with certain browsers. `texlinks.sty' v0.4 adds HTTPS, references to CTAN announcements, and references to the LaTeX Wikibook. Wikipedia macros and parts of documentation have been reworked. For details, always see the end of the .sty files. Throughout, the acro macro (known from TUGboat macros) has been applied to the documentations. Summary description: Relative Viewport for Graphics Inclusion License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Package graphicx provides a useful keyword viewport which allows to show just a part of an image. However, one needs to put there the actual coordinates of the viewport window. Sometimes it is useful to have relative coordinates as fractions of natural size. For example, one may want to print a large image on a spread, putting a half on a verso page, and another half on the next recto page. For this one would need a viewport occupying exactly one half of the file's bounding box, whatever the actual width of the image may be. On Thu, 25 Aug 2011 Pavel Farar submitted an update to the dejavu package. Summary description: LaTeX support for the fonts DejaVu License type: other-free Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This package contains LaTeX support for the fonts DejaVu. They are derived from the Vera fonts and contain more characters and styles. Changes: - Added the QX encoding (requested by Mojca Miklavec). - Added the LGR encoding (it may be usable as it is, but I think that it needs an improvement--see the documentation). - I moved the documentation of the fonts to its own subdirectory. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/fonts .
