License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: “Steal” small capitals
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This package enables you to borrow small capitals from another
font than the main document font. For that simply load the package
and specify the replacement font via the key-value-option 'from',
i.e. usepackage[from=<font name>]{stealcaps}.
In case you use pdfLaTeX the font name has to be NFSS compliant.
With XeLaTeX or LuaLaTeX, correspondingly, it has to be fontspec
compliant.

Footnotes disappeared when savenotes environment was used _inside_ a

This use case has issues though (e.g. consider a minipage in a savenotes
in a minipage: the sub-minipage also starts footnotes at a...), which
were already present in original package or even simply in LaTeX2e (see
remarks at end of pdf documentation), and I didn't try to address them.

fancyhandout
package.
Version: 2018-01-20
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: A LaTeX class for producing nice-looking handouts
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
fancyhandout breaks with some of LaTeX's principles and redefines
basic LaTeX commands with the aim of producing well-designed and
clearly structured handouts: A sans-serif font is used by default;
sections are not numbered but highlighted by underlining; head- and
footline display document information; and for avoiding too large
whitespace around the text, the margin sizes are adjusted to a
proper value.
All together, fancyhandout provides a means of typesetting
documents not exclusively consisting of running text in a
beautiful way.

There are two main changes:
- polynomials are also made known as functions to the xintfloatexpr

finding roots by Newton's method or Regula Falsi) as exact
computations quickly give very big fractions.
- there was a breaking change for PolToExpr. It now outputs in
descending powers; use PolToExpr* for ascending powers.
