Now, it is possible to create self-contained, animated SVG files, that run in all modern Web browsers as stand-alone files or as embedded objects in Web pages (by means of the <object> HTML tag). Such SVG animations have the same look and usability, including optional controls, as if they were embedded in PDF. Since `dvisvgm' is linked against Ghostscript, it is able to parse and convert embedded Postscript to inline SVG code. Therefore, it is mostly compatible with the popular TikZ and PSTricks packages, which can be used to create animated content.
