Alex Ball submitted an update to the
biblatex-oxref
package.
Version: 1.1 2019-02-19
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: BibLaTeX styles inspired by the Oxford Guide to Style
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
- Supporting the multiple variants of the `verbose' citation style
from standard biblatex was something of a hack. This has now been
done properly with the introduction of dedicated variants
`oxnotes-ibid', `oxnotes-inote', `oxnotes-note', `oxnotes-trad1',
`oxnotes-trad2', and `oxnotes-trad3'. The happy result of this is
that the `citepages' option from the standard `verbose' styles
now works properly. The downside is that if you load one of the
standard `verbose' citation styles directly (as previously suggested
in the manual) you will no longer get the advertised formatting
`(pages) at (page)'. (Thanks to moewew for reporting and BT220 for
highlighting the issue on TeX.se.)
- The test used for deciding if EU cases are singular or plural
has been documented and made slightly configurable.
- A regression in the formatting of multivolume related items has
been fixed.
- Some typographical errors in the documentation have been corrected.

Summary description: BibLaTeX styles inspired by the Oxford Guide to Style
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As the styles are now in use without serious complaint, I am taking them out of beta and declaring this version 1.0.
- A new convenience field, `casenumber', has been introduced to simplify use of the `number' and `userb' fields for European cases, for those not needing oscola compatibility.
- Internally the styles now treat the oscola fields `parreporter', `parseries', `parvolume' and `parpages' as fully defined fields in their own right, instead of as aliases for `userb', `userc', etc.
- The routine for compressing years (e.g. 2018-9) has been improved.
- Internals have been updated for biblatex 3.12 (and xparse 2018-04-30).
- Fixed an edge case that would trigger the printing of empty parentheses in reports.
- Fixed a bug where redundant disambiguation markers would be printed in oxalph references if using non-default date merging options.
- Fixed small bugs that biblatex was working around dynamically.

Summary description: Logarithms and powers with (almost) 9 digits
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This small package (usable with Plain TeX, LaTeX, or others) provides
macros for computing logarithms in base 10 and fractional powers
of 10, achieving a bit less than 9 digits of precision.
It has no dependencies and can be used on its own, but becomes
more user-friendly in the presence of xintexpr package, as it
provides then log10() and pow10() functions and optionally
patches the ** or ^ power operators to use those. This usage will
become obsolete if and when xintexpr will natively implement in
arbitrary precision the log10() and pow10() functions.

Summary description: Advanced font selection in XeLaTeX and LuaLaTeX
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
## v2.7b (2019/02/12)
* Fix regression in loading `Language=Turkish`. This now allows users
to define more than one OpenType tag when defining a language name,
where the first tag found is the one selected for the font. E.g.,
ewfontlanguage{Turkish}{TRK,TUR}
when selected, this first checks for the existance of the TRK
language tag, and if not found then checks for the TUR language tag
to use if available.
* Add new `Renderer` options for LuaTeX that enable the Harfbuzz
engine. These only work running under `luahbtex` and are currently
experimental. The new options are `Harfbuzz`, `OpenType`, `AAT`, and
`Graphite`.
* Always try to remove ‘clashing’ font features inside
`addfontfeatures` even in cases when the requested font feature
doesn't exist. E.g., now if a font is loaded with `Numbers=OldStyle`
and *doesn't have* `Numbers=Lining`, requesting the latter will still
re!set the former.
* Add `pxfonts`, `txfonts`, `newpxmath`, `newtxmath`, `mtpro2` to the
list of packages that automatically invoke `no-math`.
* Add `providefontfamily`, `setfontface`, `
enewfontface`, and
`providefontface`.
* Add local/global distinction with `fontspec_(g)set_family:Nnn` and
`fontspec_(g)set_fontface:NNnn`.
