Martin Vassor submitted the
messagepassing
package.
Version number: 1.0
License type: lppl1.3
Summary description: Draw diagrams to represent communication protocols
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This package provides an environement and commands to easily draw diagrams to
represent communication protocols using message passing among processes.
Processes are represented as horizontal (or vertical) lines, and communications
as arrows between lines. The package also provides multiple macros to decorate
those diagrams, for instance to annotate the diagram, to add crashes to the
processes, checkpoints, etc..
The package works on top of tikz, which makes it easy to add ad-hoc items using
regular tikz commands.

package.
Version: 5.0 2022-03-04
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Harvard referencing style as recommended by the University of Bath Library
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This release brings the styles in line with the Summer 2021
update to Harvard (Bath). Aside from formatting changes in
the style specification, the other notable changes in this
release are as follows:
- Series names (except those in `legislation` and `jurisdiction`
entries) are now coerced to sentence case, so any significant
capital letters need to be protected with braces.
- The ‘[Online]’ tag is now also triggered by `urldate`/`urlyear`.
In cases where it occurs directly after the title, it is no longer
left behind (after the year) if the title is moved to the head
of the reference. In `bath.bst`, it is `titleaddon` that moves.
- Due to some punctuation tweaks, maps now need to be given the
`book` entry type; previously this was an option but `manual`
was recommended.
- The `article` and `manual` entry types now support the `month` field.

- Added output arrangement option ‘bilist’ for bilingual title lists in the

- A new genre option ‘theorem’ is added to provide support for theorem

Changed:
- Directories use the title level option ‘level’ to set the title command, and
use the asterisk parameter to not output the title.
Deprecated:

unresolvable problems with the command.
- The document class removes the preset theorem environment and replaces it with

ProjLib

Version: 2022-02-27
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: A series of tools to simplify your workflow
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The whole project is being rewritten with `expl3`. New modules have
the name with prefix projlib-, and they are in many ways better
and more powerful than their predecessors. Some basically finished
new modules are included in the bundle but are not yet documented.
Most importantly, they are not compatible with the old modules,
so they cannot appear at the same time in the same document,
which, unfortunately, means that (for now) they cannot be used
in classes like `einfart` or `lebhart`, etc.
Old modules are still dated 2021/12/16 and will not be modified.
When all the new modules are finished, old files shall be removed
from this bundle.
The newly added modules include:
- projlib-author
- projlib-datetime
- projlib-draft
- projlib-font
- projlib-language
- projlib-logo
- projlib-math
- projlib-paper
When all these modules are finished, the documentation will be
updated accordingly.

Version: 3.19 2022-02-24

Summary description: OpenType ‘loader’ for Plain TeX and LaTeX
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
* When used with LuaTeX 1.15.0 or newer, variable fonts are supported
when using the harf shaper too.
* A new algorithm for selecting fonts based on font family names allows
to more reliably load fonts based on their family name.
* The compiled font database gets compressed to reduce disk space and
improve performance on newer systems.
* Text automatically gets normalized to Unicode's NFC before shaping.
This improves rendering for text written in decomposed forms for many
fonts. This can be turned off by passing the -normalize font feature.
* The fontloader has been synced with the context code from 2022-02-24.
This fixes some broken rendering of TrueType based variable fonts.
* A number of small bugfixes.

Summary description: A testing and building system for (La)TeX

## [2022-02-24]
### Fixed
- Creation of subdirectories in TDS structures on Unix-like systems
- use `form-string` rather than `form` for all curl fields to avoid
misinterpreting leading `@` or `<` eg a description starting `<p>`
- Check the boolean value returned by executing shell commands in
`l3build-upload` and throw an error if this is false. This fixes
the issue that previously validation successful was reported
if `curl` failed.

package.
Version number: 3.7q 2022-02-20
License type: lppl1.3
Summary description: Typeset fiction, non-fiction and mathematical books
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Changed (2022/02/20)
o memoir v3.7q
-- Added memhfixc autoloading to memoir (via AtEndPackage{hyperref}...), then the equivalent code can be removed from hyperref
-- now auto loads the etoolbox package in order to enable a future patching approach instead of overwriting kernel macros (nb: re-coding has not started yet)
-- changed definition of medspace into providecommand for better testing with older kernels
-- added some code to a hook provided by footmisc fixing a bug with the combination of memoir+footmisc+reledmac, especially the 2022 update of footmisc
-- fixed typo in manual regarding setupmaintoc, see https://tex.stackexchange.com/q/602963/3929 for details.
-- The LaTeX team changed the order of the file/package hook names into a more precise scheme. AtBegin/EndFile, AtBegin/EndPackage, AtBegin/EndClass changed accordingly
A note to class maintainers that use memoir as a base, and package
maintainers that apply changes when memoir is loaded:
In future updates memoir will start to use a more patch/hook based
approach to working with kernel macros instead of overwriting. This will
give the kernel developers more room for the big changes that are coming
to the kernel. We are not going to change any official memoir API macros,
but internals may change.
Given that the LaTeX kernel now have most parts of xparse build it, we
might even start using some of those tools (who knows).

This package tries to prevent overflow lines in paragraphs or boxes. It changes the
LuaTeX's linebreak callback, and it re-typesets the paragraph with increased values of
olerance and emergencystretch until the overflow doesn't happen. If that doesn't help,
it chooses the solution with the lowest badness.

This update appends the effective userid of the process to the name of
the file which gets the full original output, resulting in, e.g.,
/tmp/fot.1001 (envvars TMPDIR and TMP are checked, in that order,
falling back to /tmp). As has been the case since the beginning, this
filename can be overridden with the --tee option.
