Although it is possible to remove the native texlive packages and install a more recent complete TeXLive distribution, any attempt to install packages that depend on texlive resources (such as a2ps, latex2html, lyx, etc.) will normally trigger the re-installation of the obsolete native packages. This is inefficient and the redundant packages can interfere with the TeXLive resources. This package contains a dummy rpm which is intended to satisfy any dependencies on texlive resources, allowing packages like a2ps, latex2html, lyx, etc. to be installed without using --nodeps and without triggering re-installation of texlive rpms. We also noticed that for some reason the packages in base (e.g., doc docstrip inputenc ... source2e) have been distributed for some time without corresponding pdfs (those pdfs have been in texlive due to Heiko I guess). So this is now corrected and every .dtx file or other documentation source has a corresponding .pdf in base so that those files are now also on CTAN directly available. Note, that many of the kernel files are combined in source2e.pdf so those are not generated separately. Example: hebnumexpr 30*(21-43*(512-67*(6133-812*2897))) elax which outputs -202785405180. Option allowpower furthermore enables ^ for power operations. By default, bnumexpr uses the arithmetic macros from xint (with / doing rounded division for compatibility with umexpr). To reduce overhead, perhaps at some point these could get extracted from xint.sty/xinttools.sty and moved to a smaller core package. Option bigintcalc tells bnumexpr to load package bigintcalc rather than package xint (however / does then truncated division). With option custom, neither xint nor bigintcalc are loaded and it is up to the user to provide suitable definitions for expandable macros numexprAdd, numexprSub, numexprMul, numexprDiv and, in case of option allowpower, also numexprPow.
