Addition, subtraction, ultiplication, and division problems are randomly generated. There is a menu system for setting the intervals from which to randomly draw numbers, and the number of decimal places these numbers hould have. The user can optionally compete against the clock, and awarded points as a function of how fast the problem is correctly solved. What's New (2016/12/10): All the standard PDF creators can build the demo file fc_noacrobat.tex. If you own the Acrobat application, you can also build fc_acrobat.tex using any workflow (dvips/distiller, pdflatex, lualatex, and xelatex). Additional commands are defined to localize virtually strings the package uses. A redefined menu environment (MenuFC) is more flexible than the old one. As a result xintTrunc, xintRound, xintXTrunc got faster. Also xintKeep, xintTrim, and xintLength were somewhat refactored and are faster. New macros xintLastItem and omannumeralxintgobble (for cleaning up hundreds of thousands of unwanted tokens, if needed) and also omannumeralxintreplicate which is simply borrowed from expl3 with some minor changes. Some aspects of xintFor are better explained in the docs. The default for this option is normal. - Option firstfullname has been dropped (see above, option citeauthorname). - Option series can now take the values standard, afteryear and beforeedition. The latter is new and prints the series ahead of the edition. The default for this option is standard. - BUGFIX: From version 3.3 of biblatex, DeclareNameFormat has changed. This version of biblatex-dw is now compatible with the new syntax. - BUGFIX: In some circumstances, the option inreference=full was broken. This should be fixed now. - BUGFIX: In some cases, @review in combination with the xref functionality suppressed the output of pages. Indeed, one can not currently do: xintdeffunc foo(x):= add(i^2, i=1..x); in part because the dummy variable range is not explicitely known as it depends on the variable x. But now one can do: xintNewFunction {foo}[1]{add(i^2, i=1..#1)} and the full syntax is allowed in the replacement text because its actual parsing is delayed to the time where `foo()` will actually be used. The arguments may then be numerical, or dummy variables, or sub-expressions etc... `foo()` is then like a genuine function for the three parsers `xintexpr`, `xintiiexpr`, `xintfloatexpr`. This is very different from `xintdeffunc` and the closely related `xintNewExpr` which attempt to parse expressions (either with variables or macro parameters) and convert them in advance into (possibly very complicated) nested macro calls.
