Summary description: Additional TeX-family logos
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The package hologo enables you to output many useful logos of popular
(and not so popular) TeX-family software. However its interface is a
bit cumbersome because you must type hologo{BibTeX} instead of
BibTeX. This package enables you to import some of logos provided by
hologo as simgle commands, such as BibTeX.
Moreover this package provides yet additional logos of TeX-family
software most of which is popular mainly in Japan. These logos can be
imported in the same way as those provided by hologo.

Summary description: Upload or validate a package for CTAN
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This program can be used to automate the upload of a package to CTAN.
The description of the package is contained in a configuration file.
The provided information is validated in any case. If the validation
succeeds and not only the validation is requested, then the provided
archive file is placed in the incoming area of the CTAN for further
processing by the CTAN team.
In any case any finding during the validation is reported at the end
of the processing. Note that the validation is the default and an
official submission has to be requested by an appropriate command
line option.
ctan-o-mat requires an Internet connection to the CTAN server. Even
the validation retrieves the known attributes and the basic constraints
from the server.

Ben Vitecek submitted an update to the
cooking-units
package.
Version: 1.2 2017-10-23
License: lppl
Summary description: Typeset and convert units for cookery books and recipes
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The new version 1.20 includes several important changes:
-- The package 'translator' is being replaced by 'translations'.
-- This package now supports the usage of phrases
(the replacement of certain integers by words)
(which I think are called counting measures in English,
but I am not sure and went with phrases) which can be
activated by the option use-phrases.
-- If no translation is found for cutext and Cutext they
are automatically replaced by cunum.
-- A former version of this package introduced its own label & ref
system and allowed the main commands of this package to accept
labels via arrow brackets. This wasn't the best idea as it fails
if the arrow brackets are made active (by e.g. babel and option
spanish).
This version tries to fix it and as such the token < is not
allowed to be used as a special-sign anymore.
Minor changes (new options, units, etc.) are listed in the section
Change History.

below the equation itself, but yet not long enough to yield an overfull

The `eqnnumwarn' package modifies the standard `amsmath` numbered equation
environments to throw a warning whenever this occurs.

Summary description: A class for dissertations and theses at HEC Montréal
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The package hecthese provides the hecthese class, a class based on
memoir and compatible with LaTeX.
With this class, postgraduate students at HEC Montréal will be able
to write their dissertation or thesis while complying with all the
presentation standards required by the University.
It is meant to be as flexible as possible. As such, there are very few
hardcoded features except those that take care of the document's layout.
Dissertations and theses at HEC Montréal can be written on a per-chapter
or per-article basis. Documents that are written on a per-article basis
require a bibliography for each of the included articles and a general
bibliography for the entire document.
The hecthese class takes care of these requirements.

The manuals are compiled from source files that minimize duplication
of common information and tailor class-specific material through the
use of switches and some additional source files.
The motivation for this structure and instructions for compiling such
a multi-sourced collection are detailed in the auxiliary manual

Version: 1.08k 2017-09-28
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Completely customisable TOCs
Announcement text:

- adds `etocsetlocaltop.toc`. See corresponding manual section
for details.
- adds `etocsavedparttocline`, `etocsavedchaptertocline`,
`etocsavedsectiontocline`, ... They can be used in the context
of the technique explained in section Another compatibility mode.
- formerly, etoc redefined for the duration of the TOC the memoir
macro `chapternumberline` and its likes to have same meaning as
`
umberline` (of course, not when executed in compatibility mode),
for the sake of extraction of `etocnumber`. New method detects
presence of any `<foo>numberline` macro without any change to
originals; they can thus be used as is when applying the approach
of Another compatibility mode section from manual.
