RetosMatematicos
package.
Version number: 1.1.0 2025-09-04
License type: cc-by-sa-4
Summary description: LaTeX template for the Telegram group “Retos Matemáticos”
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear CTAN community,
This package is the result of a long process of refinement to the template used
in the Telegram group "Retos Matemáticos", by José Manuel Sánchez Muñoz.
The code employed to write the problem statements and solutions has been
abstracted enough so that it can be used by anyone interested (member or not) -
although it still is specifically tailored to our community -.
Modifications are completely allowed (see license)! All that is needed is
attribution, and for the modified code to be equally licensed. This is because
this package is licensed under CC-BY-SA 4.0
Finally, for any further details, a good place to start is the sample document,
and the package documentation itself. Any questions can be inquired to the
package maintainer (me) at henrydiazbordon(a)gmail.com.
Regards,
Henry Diaz Bordón

> - Fix the display of the licensing information at the bottom of the
> first page, so that very long lists of authors or abstracts no
> longer push the information to the second page.
> - Documentation: revise wording on the location of the templates (they
> are with the documentation in all distributions) and remove the
> obsolete link to download them from the project website.
> - Documentation (French version): fix the statement in Writing in
> French about UTF-8 character encoding being recommended. It is
> rather mandatory.
> - Implementation: complete rewrite of the licensing information
> display at the bottom of the first page using a special footer
> rather than a bottom float.
> - Implementation: configure the French quotes only for engines other
> than LuaTeX.
> - Implementation: make the internal length for the height of the
> licence statement global.
> - Implementation: \CJS@measurelicence now also creates a global length
> for the adjustment to make to \textheight and \footskip to fit the
> licensing information in the footer.
> - Implementation: set \anappendixtrue in the definition of \appendix
> like in the class memoir.
> - Templates: add a statement for each of the environments supplement,
> sharing, acknowledgements and funding that their content is
> displayed by the command \makebackmatter (except, for the last two,
> in review mode).
> - Templates: capitalize all instances of mandatory/obligatoire.
> - Author guidelines: improve the French version in a few places.
> - Author guidelines: instruct in the introduction of Preparing your
> article to type non-ASCII characters directly rather than by using
> TeX commands.
> - Author guidelines: emphasize in section Anonymous version that
> acknowledgements, funding information and ORCID iDs is among the
> information hidden by option review.
