Summary description: A content-first Beamer theme for teaching, research, and long-form academic presentations
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A new Beamer theme, beamertheme-durham, is now available.
The theme is designed for teaching, research, and long-form academic
presentations. It follows a content-first approach, emphasizing
structural clarity, pacing awareness, and layout stability under
dense textual and mathematical material.
The implementation is from first principles and does not reuse code
from existing themes. Conceptual inspiration from established Beamer
themes is acknowledged in the documentation. The color palette is
inspired by the visual identity of Durham University; the package
is an independent academic contribution and is not an official or
endorsed institutional template.
The package includes a demo presentation and full documentation.
