CTAN update: xcolor 2.04

On Sat, 24 Sep 2005 Uwe Kern submitted an update to the xcolor package. xcolor provides easy driver-independent access to several kinds of color tints, shades, tones, and mixes of arbitrary colors. It allows a user to select a document-wide target color model and offers complete tools for conversion between eight color models. Additionally, there is a command for alternating row colors plus repeated non-aligned material (like horizontal lines) in tables. Colors can be mixed like color{red!30!green!40!blue}. Since existing approaches to create EPS files from matlab (laprint, print -eps,...) does not satisfy all my requirements of fonts, quality, portability and to be able to perform fast small changes, I decided to create this package which could be seen as an extension to the PsTricks family. This package creates easily plots taking the data from files, and allows enough configuration to fit most of the cases. In the documentation it is described the requirements of the data files and how to generate EPS files from Matlab. CTAN upload: graphicx-psmin

On Wed, 21 Sep 2005, Hendri Adriaens submitted a new package graphicx-psmin to CTAN. This package is an extension of the standard graphics bundle and provides a way to include repeated postscript graphics (ps, eps) only once in a postscript document. This provides a way to get smaller postscript documents when having, for instance, a logo on every page. This package only works when post-processed with dvips, which should at least have version 5.95b! The difference for the pdf file is minimal (as ghostscript already includes only a single copy of graphics files). The latest release 0.4.2 fixes some bugs and introduces options for SVG transformations (rotation, translation, scaling etc.) dvisvgm has been sucessfully tested on various Linux (teTeX) and Windows (MikTeX) systems. Changebar release 3.5 available

Hi, Last night I have prepared changebar release 3.5 for transfer to CTAN. This release has had a couple of long standing problems fixed by Piet van Oostrum. The major featres are: * The changebar can now be used in conjunction with pdfLaTeX * The changebar package works with both the color and xcolor pacakages * The problems with bars appearing in unexpected places have been resolved * A couple of sample files with their pdf output have been added to the distribution.
