Blinking button will be appeared at right bottom corner of TeXWord window when TeX is running more then a second without progressive reading. * Fixed crash of TeXWord at displaying incomplte math formulas in long paragraphs. * BkSp removes selected text like to Del. * Ctrl+Del removes word forward (when no selection) * Ctrl+BkSp removes word backward. * warning of upgrade expiration. * /space character is added to cmcyr10 and cmcyr12 fonts to enable using them in Postscript. About BaKoMa TeX Word. BaKoMa TeX Word is True WYSIWYG LaTeX Editor. The word `True' is used to highlight two following facts: 1) It is True WYSIWYG Editor. It means that display shows precisely the same what will be printed. It looks as if you edit your document immediately in DVI Viewer window. 2) It is True LaTeX Editor. It edits LaTeX source text without any import/export procedure. It means that you can load and edit any LaTeX 2e document. Editing slides in WYSIWYG interface (with such packages as PowerDot, Prosper, Beamer, etc.) is another impressive feature of `BaKoMa TeX Word'. Beginner users of LaTeX may consider TeXWord as good start point for learning LaTeX together with writing papers. TeXWord is transparent for cooperation. TeXWord don't use additional macro packages. CTAN Update: PGF and TikZ version 1.09

On Wed, 11 Oct 2006, Till Tantau submitted an update to the PGF/TikZ package. PGF is a macro package for creating graphics. It is platform- and format-independent and works together with the most important TeX backend drivers, including pdftex and dvips. It comes with a user-friedly syntax layer called TikZ. Its usage is similar to pstricks and the standard picture environment. Unlike pstricks, it can produce either PostScript or PDF output, and works with plain (pdf-)TeX, (pdf-)LaTeX, and ConTeXt. Announcment text: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ After one year without a new versions of pgf/TikZ, I finally managed to ready a new version. I recommend updating to this version to all reasonably experienced users. After user feedback on this version, I intend to remove any remaining serious compatibility bugs (in theory, there should not be any) and to create a very stable version 1.10 within the next few weeks. Changes in version 1.09 of pgf/TikZ compared to the previous version 1.01: - Added usepgflibrary and usetikzlibrary to simplify adding new libraries. - Added native ConTeXt support in the form of module wrappers. - Added patterns. - Added crosses snake. - Added to and edge path operations. - Added to path library. In particular, this gives decent curved paths. - Added tikz automata library. - Added tikz er diagram library. - Added tikz Petri net library. - Added tikz mindmap library. - Added access to nodes in other pictures (!). - Added extended baseline setting. - Added functionality to add new coordinate systems. - Added polar xy coordinate system. - Added diamond shape (!). - Added plot mark phase, repeat and indices. - Added text height and text depth options. - Added label and pin options. - Added automatic node placement (!). - Added pgfsys-dvi.def for pure dvi mode. CTAN package Update: ctable 1.8

On Thu, 12 Oct 2006, Wybo Dekker submitted the new version 1.8 of his ctable package. ctable.sty provides commands to easily typeset centered or left or right aligned table and (multiple-)figure floats, with footnotes. Instead of an environment, a command with 4 arguments is used; the first is optional and is used for key,value pairs generating variations on the defaults and offering a route for future extensions. New CTAN package: bussproofs

Sam Buss has modified the licence statement in his bussproofs.sty package (to lppl) and we now have the package on ctan (macros/latex/contrib/bussproofs). it will be at the major ctan sites, in its final form, in the near future. the package allows the construction of proof trees in the style of the sequent calculus and many other proof systems. users may browse the package via its catalogue entry http://www.tex.ac.uk/tex-archive/help/Catalogue/entries/bussproofs.html thanks, sam, for your help in making a readily-distributable ctan package. these macros have been moved from ctan directory macros/latex/contrib/proof to directory macros/latex/contrib/lkproof there are several reasons why this is desirable; from ctan's point of view, it reduces the number of confusing name clashes. i have taken the opportunity of updating the package, from the author's web site in japan, to the current version 3.1. Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/dvdcoll Summary description: A class for typesetting DVD archives License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Having lost the overview of my DVD archives, I simply could not remember if I already recorded the documentary running on TV that day. I chose to recreate the index using LaTeX: the design aim was a hyperlinked and fully searchable PDF-document listing my DVDs with all titles, contents, lengths and so on. Further requirements were support for seasons of tv series and a list with all faulty or missing programs for rerecording. The dvdcoll class supports all these requirements. dvdcoll.cls follows the structure <number><title><length>. As a result, the class is not limited to DVDs ÿÿ you can of course typeset archives of CD-ROMs, Audio-CDs and so on. Supported languages at the moment: English, French, German.
