CTAN is now holding biber 0.8.4 (we sort of mirror from sourceforge).
Philip Kime says:

the mirroring process can't (entirely) be relied upon, so for the time
being at least, announcement messages will be generated manually, from
input from philip.
i have also updated the catalogue repository.
Users may view the package's catalogue entry at

The catalogue entry will change (somewhat) overnight tonight. (if my
cron job runs ... otherwise i'll do the job manually in the morning, and
sort out an alternative automatic means to do the run.)

Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The pxgreeks package allows LaTeX users who use the PX fonts to
easily select the shapes (italic or upright) for the Greek lowercase

have been chosen via a package option, the other prefix (e.g.
otheralpha) allows using the alternate glyph (as in the fourier
package). The pxgreeks package is compatible with using an arbitrary
text font in the document.
