Clea F. Rees submitted an update to the
nfssext-cfr
package.
Version: 2010-07-17
License: lppl1.3
Summary description: Extensions to the LaTeX NFSS.
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The package is an extension of nfssext.sty, which is distributed
with the font installation guide.
Includes an attempt to improve ofstyle and microtype support for
variant families.
There is no change to the available commands or package support. (No
new features, no shocking disappearances.) It is possible that it may
result in changes to line breaks if a document uses microtype, although
I am not sure that it will actually do so. (It shouldn't make a
difference for cfr-lm and I'm not sure that anything else with
microtype support uses it.)
The reason for the difference in version and publication dates is that
I forgot that I was testing it and just discovered I'm using a local
copy 5 years on.

Alexander Grahn submitted an update to the
fixocgx
package.
Version number: 0.6 2015-06-18
License type: lppl1.3
Summary description: Drop-in replacement for the `ocgx' package; adds support for dvips+ps2pdf, XeLaTeX, dvipdfmx
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Package `ocgx2' replaces the now obsolete `fixocgx' package.
The intent of `ocgx2' is to be a drop-in replacement for the already existing package `ocgx' by Paul Gaborit.
It re-implements the functionality of the `ocg', `ocgx' and `ocg-p' packages and adds support for all known engines and
back-ends including:
* LaTeX --> dvips --> ps2pdf/Distiller
* (Xe)LaTeX --> (x)dvipdfmx
* pdfLaTeX, luaLaTeX
To enable dvipdfmx support, pass `dvipdfmx' globally as a class option.
Also, it adds some minor improvements, such as package options, remembering option settings of re-opened ocgs, correct
behaviour of ocg switching links that were themselves placed on layers, compatibility with the `animate' and `media9'
packages.

Scott Pakin submitted an update to the
ctanify
package.
Version number: 1.6
License type: lppl
Summary description: Prepare a package for upload to CTAN.
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
ctanify is intended for developers of LaTeX packages who want to
distribute their packages via the Comprehensive TeX Archive Network
(CTAN). Given a list of filenames, ctanify creates a tarball
(a .tar.gz file) with the files laid out in CTAN's preferred
structure. The tarball additionally contains a ZIP (.zip) file with
copies of all files laid out in the standard TeX Directory Structure
(TDS), which facilitates inclusion of the package in the TeX Live
distribution of TeX.
Version 1.6 introduces a --tex option that facilitates packaging
non-LaTeX packages (e.g., Plain TeX or ConTeXt).
