Summary description: Multilingual support for Plain TeX or LaTeX License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Babel 3.9b version fixes lots of bugs and adds some new features (intended mainly to make it compatible with Unicode engines). Some bugs have not been fixed to avoid backward incompatibilities, but they have been documented. Most of the new features (like package options) are intended to overcome issues in previous releases without changing significantly the behaviour of Babel. Starting with this version, babel has been separated in a core (or base) part, and contributed language-specific packages.
