The most important features are: - It automatically aligns the problems in three points with an optional fourth: * Beginning of the words minimize/argmin and subject to * The objective function and the longest left hand side of the constraints * The $= | > | <$ signs of the constraints. * Optionally, the user can add manually a double align character && to align some common constraints feature. A clear example could be the constraints names, e.g. (boundary constraint) alignment with (dynamic constraint). Furthermore, it provides an easy interface to define optimization problem for three different reference situations: - Where no equation is referenced/numbered. - Where the problem is referenced with a single number. - Where each equation has an individual reference. TeX Live 2016 released

TeX Live 2016 has been released. It is now or will be soon available from CTAN sites (http://mirror.ctan.org/systems/texlive). Package updates will resume in another day or two. As usual, we recommend doing a network install in one way or another instead of downloading the large (3+gb) .iso -- see http://tug.org/texlive/acquire.html for a discussion of the various alternatives. If anyone notices stale or missing information on the TL web pages, or problems with the release, please report as usual. MacTeX (http://tug.org/mactex) has also been released and are available from CTAN. The TeX Collection DVD (http://tug.org/texcollection) is going to production shortly and should be available in due course. I don't have an ETA at this point in time. Happy TeXing, Karl

These are provided both in form of a Lua module and in form of plain TeX, LaTeX, and ConTeXt macro packages that enable the direct inclusion of markdown documents inside TEX documents. Architecturally, the package consists of the Lunamark Lua module by John MacFarlane, which was slimmed down and rewritten for the needs of the package. Lunamark provides speedy markdown parsing for the rest of the package.
