Seppe Ongena submitted the
ugentdocs
bundle.
Version: 1.0.0
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: House style document classes for Ghent University
Announcement text:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the first CTAN release of ugentdocs, a set of document classes
implementing the house style of Ghent University (2025 style guide).
The package provides classes for bachelor's, master's and PhD
dissertations, research articles, reports, exams, letters, course notes,
and beamer presentations, and can generate print-ready book covers for
PhD dissertations or courses.
The package requires LuaLaTeX or XeLaTeX, as the official UGent Panno
Text font is used for the logos. This font is not included and must be
obtained separately from the UGent intranet.
The documentation includes compilable examples for every class.
Questions and feedback are welcome via GitHub Discussions; bugs can be
reported in the issue tracker.

Initial release (v1.0.0) of the boolalg package.
Features:
- Pure-TeX recursive-descent parser supporting algebraic, programmatic, and LaTeX math notations for Boolean expressions (AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR, XOR, XNOR).
- Automatic truth table generation (\btable, \btable*) with intermediate sub-expression columns and automatic width fallback.
- Step-by-step Boolean expression simplification (\bsimplify, \bsimplify*) with explicit law justifications (including Absorption and the Consensus theorem).
- Bidirectional algebraic equivalence prover (\bprove) with automatic counterexample search when two expressions are not equivalent.

LaTeXbangla
package.
Version: 1.0
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Enhanced LaTeX integration for Bangla
Announcement text:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
v1.0
- Modernize for current XeLaTeX and Polyglossia, fixing the old numbering incompatibility.
- Require only one Bangla font, with fontspec-style setters, automatic bold/italic,
and independent English and math font choices. Test six Bangla font families.
- Improve Bangla numbering, alphabetic lists, references, citations, and math digits.
Typed Western and Bangla digits keep their original script.
- Preserve legacy font options and `changecounternumbering`. Remove `feature=0/1/2`
and bundled theorem/layout styles; define these in your document or class.

Ryoya Ando submitted an update to the
ltMermaid
package.
Version: 1.1 2026-10-22
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Embed Mermaid diagrams in LaTeX
Announcement text:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.1 of ltmermaid (mermaid.sty and ltmermaid.sty) is now available.
- Support for Mermaid CLI 12: Mermaid CLI 12 removed the -f (--pdfFit) option, so every diagram failed with v1.0c. The -f option is now passed only when the renderer reports Mermaid CLI 11 or older. The new \MermaidPdfFit command always passes it.
- A diagram is rendered only when its source or the renderer settings change. Diagram PDFs therefore stay unchanged between runs, and latexmk converges.
- mermaid.sty now supports -output-directory, including with upLaTeX + dvipdfmx and XeLaTeX.
- ltmermaid.sty: fixed output file name conflicts between the mermaid environment and \mermaidfile.

> - This release features refinements or minor adjustments to the glyphs of over 400 Chinese characters. This includes the character "心" (xīn)—which had received significant user feedback—as well as various Simplified Chinese characters that were poorly implemented during the project's early stages. Additionally, 50 frequently used Small Seal Script (小篆) characters—sourced from the new additions in Unicode 18.0—have been incorporated into the full version of LXGW WenKai. Symbols for dice and Mahjong tiles have also been added. The ongoing process of refining glyphs remains a long-term project.

Wolfgang Hochleitner submitted an update to the
hagenberg-thesis
package.
Version: 2026-10-22
License: cc-by-4 cc-by-sa-4
Summary description: Collection of LaTeX classes, style files and example documents for academic manuscripts
Announcement text:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Changes in version 2026-10-22 are described in:
https://github.com/Digital-Media/HagenbergThesis/blob/main/CHANGELOG.md#202…
Here is a summary:
* New affidavit following the template of FH OÖ (2026) and
documentation of the use of generative AI tools: detailed form
(default) before the bibliography or short form in the affidavit,
selected with the new class option `aiusage`.
* New default title page following the title page prototype of
FH OÖ; the academic degree is set with the new class option
`degree`, the former title page is available as theme `classic`.
* Preparation of the switch to the UAP brand in January 2027:
theme `default` uses the UAP logo as soon as its logo file is
added to the document; new themes `fhooe26` and `uap27` pin
the FH OÖ and the UAP brand, respectively.
* Syntax highlighting for code listings with the new class option
`codestyle` (`color`, `mono`, `classic`), modernized language
definitions and code environments for twelve more languages.
* Key-value syntax for all class options (e.g., `language=german`,
`twoside=true`, `updatecheck=false`); the former bare options
are deprecated.
* The option `titlelanguage` only applies to the title page;
all other pages use the main language of the document.
* English version of the internship report, updated tutorials
(English and German) and sample bibliography.
* Fixes: T1 font encoding and Latin Modern fonts also without
`hgbpdfa`, `@electronic` entries as online sources, document
title in PDF viewers, and corrections of default values and
German texts.

Mizuki Sato submitted an update to the
mtp2otf
package.
Version: 1.4
License: 0bsd
Summary description: Convert MathTime Professional 2 fonts to native OpenType MATH fonts
Announcement text:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
mtp2otf 1.4 improves Unicode mappings and standard input routes,
refines accent positioning and extensible symbols, and reorganizes
OpenType character-variant features.
Default delimiter growth now uses the original Type 1 ordinary size
sequences. Larger prebuilt parentheses and curly braces can be enabled
separately through character variants.
The converter has been reorganized, and the documentation now includes
a font guide with unicode-math examples, alongside the build guide and
technical reference.
