This template is appropriate for MIT theses of all types. This class was new in 2023, and it is a complete replacement for the original mitthesis.cls written in the 1980s. This update provides better support for degrees issued jointly by more than one department. Minor bugs and layout issues have been corrected. The table of contents has been revised. Additional bibliography styles are given.
