Stephan Lukasczyk submitted an update to the
se2thesis
package.
Version number: 3.3.0 2024-02-22
License type: lppl1.3c
Summary description: A Thesis Class for the Chair of Software Engineering II at
the University of Passau, Germany
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Added:
- Enhance the options for bibliography styles, one can now choose between
`alphabetic` and `numeric` style. The former loads the default BibLaTeX
`alphabetic` style, the latter uses ACM's numeric style.
- For the new numeric style, we support an enhanced `autocite` macro, which
typesets the citation in the margin column for the first appearance per
chapter.
- Add thesis-type option `phdeng` for a doctoral degree in engineering.
Changed:
- The default citation style, when setting `biblatex=true` while loading the
`se2packages` package is now `numeric` based on the ACM numeric style instead
of `alphabetic`. The latter can now be chosen explicitly.
See https://github.com/se2p/se2thesis/issues/7 for a discussion
on the general decision.

Jinwen XU submitted an update to the
create-theorem
package.
Version: 2024-02-20a
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Initializing and configuring theorem-like environments, with multilingual support
Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Change(s) since the last version:
- The clever referencing now works properly with the option nameinlink
The current mechanism for naming the theorem-like environments is
essentially following the syntax of `cleveref`. However, with the
lower/uppercase, multilingual and different variations (such as
abbreviations and declensions) being considered, the current
configuration may look redundant and not quite organized.
Also, a huge drawback of the current method is the difficulty
for defining both the singular and plural form of an environment,
such as `example` and `examples`.
In a future version, a new interface is planed to be introduced,
which would be similar to the method used by `zref-clever`.

Jinwen XU submitted an update to the
colorist
package.
Version: 2024-02-20
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Write your articles or books in a colorful way
Announcement text:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Changes since the last version:
- Added support for the plural forms of theorem-like environments, such as
examples, facts, etc.
- Added preliminary support for some new environments (the visual style, such
as the colored boxes, of some of the new environments are not yet carefully
selected, some adjustments might be needed later)
Note that, though the plural forms of theorem-like environments are provided,
they do not interact well with their singular forms during a multiple clever
referencing, that means manual intervention is still needed in some cases. In
practice, this wouldn't cause much trouble though: when referencing a plural
form environment, one is usually referring to some specific items inside it,
thus it is not common to mix this reference with other ones.

minimalist
package.
Version: 2024-02-20
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: Write your articles or books in a simple and clear way
Announcement text:

Change(s) since the last version:

Jinwen XU submitted an update to the
ProjLib
package.
Version: 2024-02-20
License: lppl1.3c
Summary description: A collection of facilitative tools
Announcement text:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Changes since the last version:
- module theorem: added configuration for plural forms of the environments
(such as examples, facts)
- module theorem: added support for environments commentary and motivation
- module titlepage: the old minimalist style is improved and made default;
the old default style has been renamed into fancy
Note that, though the plural forms of theorem-like environments are (finally!)
provided, they do not interact well with their singular forms during clever
referencing, that means manual intervention is still needed in some cases. This
wouldn't cause much trouble though: when referencing a plural form environment,
one is usually referring to some specific items inside it, thus it is not
common to mix this reference with other ones.
